</I> Vocational training for young Jews anticipating emigration to Palestine. Most such training was provided under the auspices of the Zionist Hehalutz movement in various centres and farms in Germany. Other movements, such as Mizrahi, Agudath Israel, and the Union of Jewish Front Veterans (RJF) maintained their own centres for agricultural study by prospective emigrants. The training centres in Germany continued to operate for several years after the war began, and were not shutdown until 1942.
